Google classroom is a tool for supporting and evidencing learning and understanding.
Google workspace is a collection of web based apps which enable truly collaborative work across classes, organisations, businesses and clubs.
Having used Google tools to teach since 2017 I have also been instrumental in the adoption of Google Classroom and Google Workspace for education at The Sheffield College.
This has included the training and support of staff and students across the college, either in formal training situations or ad-hoc support sessions.
The adoption of the system before COVID 19 meant that less learners were affected as badly and the majority of the staff were prepared for a blended approach to learning.
Setting an assignment in classroom
Training can be done online or face to face and can include:
Starting out with Google.
Working with Google Suite for education, the teaching toolkit.
Converting materials to work with Google Classroom.
A blended approach to training delivery, to students or staff.
